My new antenna amplifier (RSMLA-C) is working nicely!

Radio Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) – Quran Program

15205 kHz.  Received at Teaneck, New Jersey, USA.

22-Mar-2015,  Local Time – 12:04 PM (1604 UTC),  Language: Arabic

Receiver:  Microtelecom Perseus     Antenna: MFJ-1899T Whip

In the East Coast of USA, strong signals from R. Riyadh can be heard in many frequencies on high bands in daytime.  In the following spectrum, the neighboring signal on 15225 kHz (right side) is another program of Radio Riyadh.

Radio VBC (Vladivostok, Russia)

101.7 MHz FM.    Received at Niigata, Japan.

30-Jun-2012, Local Time – 11:00 AM (0200 UTC)   Language: Russian

Receiver: Degen DE1103     Antenna:  PA0RDT Mini-Whip (on the rooftop of car)

In the recording you can hear the station jingle of “Radio VBC” and “….Легендарное радио” (Lyegendarnoye radio = Legendary radio)…

This reception was likely by the sporadic E propagation.  Some other stations from China were also heard on the FM band in Japan.  Actually I don’t think PA0RDT Mini-Whip covers VHF, but still usable for this time.
